I’ve got another one!
I jump up from my bed and run to the living room to get my pen and pad. I furiously start jotting down words, barely legibly, before they escape my mind. This is the life of a writer. Ideas come and go like the wind. Inspiration inhabits you one second, unannounced, and then flees from your mind the next. This time it’s a tale of two women.
Valerie
“I think my husband’s having an affair. There, I said it. It’s out now and I can’t take it back. I can’t pretend it’s not happening. I can’t pretend that the late “work” nights aren’t real; or that the showers he takes immediately he gets home, before even giving me a kiss, aren’t real; or that the 2 tickets to Aruba I found in his suit pocket last week aren’t real. Larry’s having an affair and I don’t know what to do. Please help me Doc.”
Vivienne
“I’m sleeping with a married man. There, I said it. And I’m not going to apologize either. I love what I’m doing. I love the thrill of getting caught doing something naughty. The heat between us is palpable. The passion can’t be measured; I climax to new heights every time he fills me. What can I say? I love having sex with Larry and I don’t want to stop. Oh goodness, please help me Doc.”

Now this is interesting. They say no two patients are the same but these two are more alike than they realize. I have to tread lightly with this situation; there’s already been much damage and pain. I must be careful not to make it worse. Who do I see next? I think I’ll start with Valerie this week. I better call her to come in for an afternoon session today.
Yay! I got it all down. Just the beginning but I have no doubt this story will go down a rather interesting road. That’s for later on tonight though. It’s already 9:00am. I have to wash up, get dressed, eat some brekkie, and head out to meet my beautiful sisters at work. Toodles!
