The day really started great; my cornstalks were doing great, my garden was looking happy and I had had great food and conversation with the family. I should have known it would go downhill from there when my hair refused to cooperate with me. I had a nagging thought to drop my laptop at home but I just ignored it.
At 2pm all I thought as I opened the boot was, where is my bag?!?! I tried not to get hysterical, like I’m wont to do, but it was so hard. In related news, police bureaucracy is a female dog, I hope I never have to go through that again. Through it all, the only thing I thought about was how the hell I was going to replace all the information I had gathered in my laptop for the past 2 plus years. *sigh*
