I woke up at 5:40 am.
I don’t usually check the time when I wake up, but for some reason I did today. I felt excited and motivated to do something, but I’m not too sure what… I closed school at 11:00 and was met with intense traffic at the Lekki Toll Gate. The perks of Friday’s right? No.
As I’m stuck in traffic I can’t help but feel that I myself am stuck. Not really progressing, or at least not feeling like it. Everything is routine. Wake up at 5 so I can be on the road before 7 to make it to school on time, being stuck in traffic every single afternoon, then arriving at home feeling lethargic and nauseous. Then finally willing myself to complete all my work and revise. My resolution for this year was to live in today because I had been living my life too much in the future tense…
6:04pm and I just finished watching a program that showcased different businesses people, and all they had in common was the passion they had for their businesses. I want each day to be an adventure. There needs to be a way out of my mundane existence.
The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams…
