8:47pm: This is O’tega reporting live on his way home for the3six5ng… The world is not about to end. *clicks send*
“73 unopened emails and Pope Francis has just been elected”, my Lumia screen tells me. O’tega hopes there’s fuel at home for the generating set. If you are impatient, skip to the last paragraph for some bit of a good laugh.

It’s 4:45AM and the alarm has just gone off. The first mails have started to arrive. News… approvals.. a Linked-in invite… spam…, the list is endless and I really do not want to get out of bed.
The time cautiously approaches 5:50am. I rush into the bath, and plan my day and write-ups as water cascades down my body. Today, O’tega will wear the grey suit with subtle button-hole detail, navy tie, blue shirt, suspenders and pocket square. Patent or plain leather shoes? Patent Leather it is. Yesterday’s conflict with the big ma’am must be resolved.
7:37am: When will this traffic situation improve? I use the opportunity to listen to more recycled news on radio. *they all say the same thing*
1pm: My approval has just been rejected, again. I won’t be beaten here. Time to make the vertical trips to convince the ‘men’ at the top.
3pm: Hungry. A pack of Loackers wafers and a glass of juice later, my smile returns and I start to scan my twitter feed.
*The press guys just keep calling, the agencies keep sending the ‘Please find attached’ mails. Can I get a moment of peace here?*
The Big Ma’am is still not talking to me.

6:00pm: Yet another extremely funny ‘#ogaONtop’ meme. The NSCDC boss must be having a torrid time. Finally got to speak with the big ma’am and we are back on talking terms. At least, I can now proceed with pushing the TVC script again.

It is almost 12:30am today and I have just woken up with a start to meet my lullaby waiting with an impish smile on my annoying Blackberry (click to listen). I smile and think… “I’ll Survive”
