5:25am Why, why, why can I never sleep through the night I always have to wake up early? Sunlight coming in through the blinds doesn’t help (makes mental note to buy darker blinds). It’s Saturday so it’s a lazy morning. Fumbling for my phone one eye closed and the other squinting at the screen there are 2 messages from 1 conversation on whats pp…..L telling me I’m looking “take away in my profile picture” huh??? All these naija slangs sha what do I even reply to that? Thank you?
7:00am quick 4 mile run (team #fitfam by force)
8:06am I fetch my laptop and head for YouTube — a Yoruba movie or two always makes everything better hehehe. :) Watching a movie and reading my twitter timeline is something I’ve specialised in over time.
10:05am going into the west end later I’m excited. The little things such as getting on the train mean a lot to me these days and of course the shopping trips that accompany it. I start getting ready 2 hours before meeting time with the girls. For some odd reason it takes me ages to get ready. I have to change outfits at least 3 times (Don’t ask) before I’m ever ready. Even when I promise myself to stick to one outfit it never happens SMH.
12:07pm The only thing I can really think about on this train ride is going into Primark on Oxford Street and basking in all those clothes -__- There’s this thing with me and Primark I can’t explain it BUT HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE PRIMARK EEKKKKKK :p
05:26pm 6 compressed shopping bags later, we are headed to Bayswater for some bowling and ice cream. Right now I’m actually tired and could do with help carrying all my Primark bags. Next dinner at Leicester square! Whoop TGI FRIDAYS!!!!!!
09;40pm The wait for the train gets me studying everyone that walks past in the train station. Orisirisi (different things) dey this London ….I’ve got no comment sha . I dig my latest read outta my bag and put my earphones in. The wait is over so soon.
Home sweet home in the next 20 minutes.
