Sometimes…
I wish I was back as a “10-year-old kid”, looking in the mirror and seeing all the events that would take place in my life and in my family in the next 20 years.
I wish my family wasn’t evicted from home, twice in 8 years, in two different areas.
I wish I would have discovered my film-making dream earlier.
I wish I didn’t attend a boarding school and a private university, from which I would later drop out due to unpaid school fees.
I wish I could pay my mum’s huge debts and make her smile everyday.
I wish my dad would learn from his mistakes and not repeat them again and again.
I wish I have a girlfriend I love.
I wish I was confident towards women that I’m attracted to.
I wish I would stop worrying about my film career.
I wish I had a university degree.
I wish I wasn’t scared of death and scared of losing a loved one.
I wish I never masturbated.
I wish I never had sex with hookers.
I wish to believe in God to change me.
I wish Stanley had graduated from the University. Things wouldn’t have been very difficult.
I wish Kevin would get his head right, stay positive, take hold of his future and stop being so bitter towards others.
I wish we were all together now as a family.
I wish my sisters positive change in their lives.
I wish I have more patience with women.
Lastly, I wish these weren’t just wishes…
