I’ve got a hot date tonight. She’s one of those dark caramel skinned, long silky haired types. I struck up a conversation with her two weeks ago and have been easing into going on a date with her ever since. However I’m already late. The date was supposed to start at 8pm. Well, to be honest I can’t really say I’m late because I think I’m very distracted. I just got the new Tomb Raider for Xbox and at the risk of sounding like a nerd- I will have to pick Lara Croft over a real girl this once.
So I ordered a chicken combo pizza from The Pizza Company (with extra mozzarella) with some fried chicken. The Pizza Company fried chicken makes me feel sad for all those folks who eat the crap at KFC or Abuja’s SFC… This is what fried chicken should taste like! And this (Lara Croft) is what women should be like… engaging! Not the kind of women that you have to crack your brain to have witty conversations with and then sadly realize that… You been over killing it… cos she just doesn’t get you! *sigh*
Just look at all that gooey, icky sticky cheese and the mushrooms and chicken and chilli toppings on that pizza. Forget that crunchy chicken that melts in your mouth for now sef! Mehn… I don’t care if I missed out on getting some tonight… This night in at home beats any date! I can always come up with an excuse for the hottie tomorrow… but for now- I want to savour some ‘Me’ time tonight.
