Today’s plan: Sleep, Eat, Dance, Pray, Love, More Sleep
Sleep
I didn’t get much sleep; I overdid it. I was just too excited yesterday I was practically skipping jumping after I passed my driving test. Yes, finally! I had a massive headache afterward. I woke up in the middle of the night to get some drugs to sleep well. This is besides the fact my phone started buzzing as early as 1208am today. I felt groggy when I woke up, I needed strength, and I had to eat.
Eat
I emptied my tummy; I was ready to eat all sorts today. I had cheesecake, ice-cream, dodo, fries, and a whole lot of junk as breakfast. I told myself it was ok — having fruit and yoghurt for dinner; as per healthy living. For lunch, my friend suggested Chinese food, but being the person that I am I had eba and seafood okro. I recently discovered the yumminess that is seafood okro, it just makes me dance.
Dance and Pray
I had every reason to dance. I’m just so grateful for the gift of life. My hope and trust is God. He has been my help and been so good to me and to think all I did was cry pray. I had joy in my heart today, all I had been shown today was love.
Love
My mum’s message was the funniest thing I read today. It read:
“…what’s your agenda for today? Don’t do Ijebu o, go out with your friends and give yourself a treat…”
This mama definitely knows her daughter. I decided to do just that. But not after getting myself to finish off my papers that were due today and then write for 365ng. I still feel very tired after all the appointments I had. I didn’t get tickets to the Man of Steel’s premiere *sad face* so I decided to drink hang with friends and head on home for more sleep.
More Sleep
Today was a good day. I ate so much, laughed so hard till my face ached, danced real good. All I had to say was thank you Jesus before I slept!
