Today’s declaration is a bit disturbing. Okay maybe not, but for a chronic plan-a-holic, realizing that I am living a life that has been planned out and I cannot change is disturbing. Everything that happens is part of the Master’s plan regardless of what my plan is. Today though, like many other days, I’m hoping for a tie between Sheila’s plan and the Master’s plan.

Today I planned to go to daddy’s office early because being unemployed makes me daddy-employed till someone hires me.
My mother just asked me to run a few errands, obviously going to the office early is not happening today. (Sheila-0; Master- 1)

A million and one things to do online today including jobs to apply for but the internet is not at its best so I have to wait till a miracle happens.Oyinda just informed me about a job opening and luckily BIS is working well enough for me to email a copy of my CV saved on my blackberry. (Sheila — 1; Master -1)
15:30Today’s lunch, Isi-ewu from Yellow Chilli… well that’s what I had planned till my lunch date called to cancel because something came up and he won’t make it in time.
Lucy, the secretary, just asked if I wanted to buy boiled corn. Not exactly what I want for lunch but I’m hungry. (Sheila — 0; Master — 1)

The generator at home is being serviced today. Luckily electricity is a lot better in this side of Lagos and I need not worry about any power outage till 8pm.

Having the office a minute from the house is a blessing and a curse.
Forgot the office keys at home, now I have to walk back. (Sheila — 0; Master — 1)

Today I have to cook dinner, I wish I didn’t have to but I have no choice.
The parents want to go to Yellow Chilli; Isi-ewu it is. (Sheila- 0.5; Master -1)

Another loss to the Master but at least I get my Isi-ewu (if it’s according to the Master’s plan).
Mum just changed her mind.
