I beat my alarm to it today. Instead of the shrilling sound of my alarm, I woke up to the sonorous voice of Nickelback — Trying not to love you.
A quick look at my phone reveals that its just 1am! 1am? what!? Oh well, all the better for me. I grabbed my laptop switched it on and continued with my notes. I’ve had back to back tests since Monday and I feel like crap; today i have Principles of Primary Health Care and I’m not prepared. This is the first and last time I’ll ever crash read. Never again!
45mins later: headache, neck stiffness and I think I’ve about had it with anything “oral health”. I reset my alarm to 3:30am and doze off again. 6:30am was when I reconnected back with the world. I quickly grabbed my laptop and tried to cover as much as I could before the “low battery alert” came up which by the way was approximately 30mins later.
By 10am I was awaiting the question paper. 60mins later and it was all over and i was finally done with my tests. Woohoo! Home by Chris Daughtry was playing in my head but first of all I had to go in search of a perfect location to take pictures for my blog and of course a willing photographer.
“I’m going home, to the place where I belong. Where the love has always been enough for me”.
I got home, settled in bed and finally decided to watch a movie on my laptop. I’ve been phone less and without any form of internet connection for almost the whole of today and it doesn’t feel so good.
“Shoot me down, but I won’t fall . I am titanium”
Oh! And my test was actually really good :)
